Eglin Air Force Base, Florida– DCS was awarded the General Services Administration One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services (GSA OASIS) Small Business (SB) Technical and Management Advisory Services (TMAS) Electronic Warfare (EW) Task Order on 20 April 2016. The task order runs over four years and has a ceiling value of $34.8M. DCS will support Air Combat Command’s 53rd Electronic Warfare Group (53EWG) at Eglin and the Air Force Test Center’s 412th Electronic Warfare Group (412 EWG) at Edwards Air Force Base, California.
DCS will assist the 53 EWG in conducting testing and accomplishing mission planning, data gathering, data reduction, data analysis, and reporting for tests of mission data, operational flight program suite upgrades, and numerous aircraft systems. Missions to be supported range from precision measurement tests to open air flight tests. For the 412 EWG DCS will support EW test resource engineering and management organizations in developing, planning, and executing technical investment programs to upgrade and improve the overall capability of test infrastructure, to include test ranges and test facilities.
DCS is a strong advocate of designing and building “tomorrow’s DoD capabilities within today’s budget.” In this regard, DCS will provide technical advice and assistance related to the evaluation and planning of investment strategies with a particular focus on helping the Air Force establish short-and long-term cost reduction methodologies. To support investment strategies, DCS will contribute to the development of technical and data requirements.
